Nonruminant Feed Sample Set
This unique hands-on learning tool includes 24 one-quarter-cup samples of actual feed for NONRUMINANT livestock animals, including swine and poultry but not horses. Clear plastic jars, high-quality labels, laminated identification key, and study storage box make the samples perfect for repeated use in many learning activities. This is a new product; the original feed sample set (FS01) is primarily for equine.

This sample feed set is a great way to teach youth to identify feed. The set includes (24) one-quarter-cup samples of these feeds: beet pulp, blood meal, calcium carbonate, copper hydroxychloride, copper sulfate, cracked corn, dicalcium phosphate, distiller’s grain, dried molasses, dried yeast, feather meal, fish meal, ground corn, ground limestone, meat and bone meal, rice bran meal, salt, soybean meal, steam rolled barley, steam rolled oats, wheat middlings, whey concentrate, whole oats, and whole wheat.
In addition to the samples, which are not labeled with the feed names, the kit includes a durable answer key card with heavy-duty lamination.
